Our research projects focus on assessing public health emergency response, particularly looking at the implementation and evaluation of the Student Outbreak Response Team (SORT) and the formation of a partnership between local public health entities and academic institutions.

There are various research projects pertaining to the implementation and evaluation of the ASU COVID-19 Case Investigation Team, including assessment of the program's impact on public health knowledge, attitude, and behavior, and case investigator empathic communication.

Evaluation of a Community-Driven COVID-19 Mitigation Program - Guadalupe, Arizona
The Guadalupe Community Response Team (GCRT) is a network of partners that implemented a community-led program to increase access to culturally, linguistically, and geographically attuned public health interventions. This project evaluates the GCRT's efforts to support the town of Guadalupe during a public health emergency.
