Megan Jehn, PhD, MHS

Megan Jehn is an Associate Professor in the School of Human Evolution and Social Change (SHESC) and a Senior Sustainability Scientist at Arizona State University. Dr. Jehn holds a Ph.D.and M.H.S in Clinical Epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Dr. Jehn is a clinical epidemiologist and the Principal Investigator of the ASU COVID-19 Case Investigation, Community Response Program. In addition, Dr. Jehn is part of the ASU Biodesign COVID-19 Outbreak & Vaccine Modeling Teams. Dr. Jehn’s research focuses on the COVID-19 pandemic, public health workforce development, and emergency and disaster preparedness and response. She has made significant contributions to the field of Disaster Medicine and Public Health Preparedness. Many of her publications center around influenza outbreak risk, preparedness, modeling, and policy.

In addition to research, Dr. Jehn deeply values her role as a mentor, particularly through roles as the Barrett Faculty Honors Advisor for SHESC students and the Faculty Mentor for multiple ASU organizations, including the Student Outbreak Response Team (SORT) and Student Action for Community Health Advancement. She also has dedicated her time at ASU to developing and improving upon the Global Health Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree programs through SHESC at ASU.
